MEDIA ACCREDITATION

Applications open July 28, 2026 to August 28, 2026!

At CIFF, we’re passionate about telling stories — and this fall, we invite you to help tell ours.

From acclaimed international cinema and thought-provoking filmmaker conversations to red carpets, special guests, and unforgettable festival moments, the Calgary International Film Festival offers accredited media access to one of Canada’s most exciting cultural events. Whether you’re covering film, arts and culture, entertainment, or local events, CIFF 2026 is packed with opportunities to create timely, compelling content.

Apply for media accreditation and join us in capturing the energy, creativity, and conversation surrounding this year’s Festival.

INDUSTRY WEEK

Media accreditation also provides access to Industry Week, returning across two weekends. As one of Western Canada’s premier gatherings for screen-based storytellers and industry professionals, Industry Week features engaging panels, keynote conversations, networking opportunities, and social events designed to foster connection, collaboration, and professional development.
