The term "American Dream" is an evocative and unmistakeable phrase that is often used to portray the lengths people will go to in order to make a living in the United States. But the proverbial dream is, more often than not, a nightmare.

FROM NOWHERE follows three undocumented Bronx teenagers, about to graduate from high school, who desperately seek political asylum in a system inundated with red tape, bureaucracy and a lack of transparency. Lost in a complicated world from which they are purposely excluded, they want nothing more than to stay in the country they love, even though it seemingly couldn't care less about them.

In an election cycle that has focused more on 'building walls' than in fulfilling the long-held promise of the American dream, director Matthew Newton has gathered an incredibly gifted cast of young actors to bring us one of the most urgent and timely films of the year.
