The safety and well-being of CIFF attendees, staff, volunteers and stakeholders is a top priority. Following the March 12 directive from the Alberta government to cancel large public gatherings of 250 or more people, effective immediately, all scheduled screenings from our year-round programming series have been cancelled. This includes: 

March 18: MoS Docs, MR. JIMMY at Studio Bell
April 1: Doc Soup, COLLECTIVE at Cineplex Eau Claire
April 8: Global Perspectives, JUST 6.5 at Globe Cinema

Single ticket holders will be issued refunds and subscribers will be issued a credit.

Submissions for the 2020 Calgary International Film Festival remain open.
