ABOUT THE SERIES
Generation Next is Calgary International Film Festival's youth-focused film series. Heading into its third year, the Series empowers youth ambassadors to hand-pick films relevant to their generation and gives a new voice to the youth perspective. CIFF collaborates with 10 high school students grades 9-12 to select and watch films, curating an important part of the festival's lineup.
The curated films will also have high school curriculum ties, and teachers can sign-up for their class to watch a film during the 2021 festival. LEARN MORE
