Christopher (Christopher Clare), or CLIP, a nickname relic from his days running on the streets, is an artist past the height of his professional dance career. Aging out of his art form as a professional performance artist, CLIP, who used dance to change his life, is now faced with an uncertain future. Amongst this turmoil, Stephen (Shemar Herbert), a young friend and a talented street dancer, reaches out for help shadowing CLIP's very own past.

Ramin Eshraghi-Yazdi is an award-winning Canadian BIPOC writer, producer and director from Calgary who's created everything from shorts to music videos, documentaries and sketch comedy. DROP is Ramin's debut feature narrative. We couldn't be more proud to showcase his film with our CIFF audience. Created on a very small budget, DROP fuses dance with a uniquely told crime drama, brought to life by a talented cast of local actors working on stage and screen.
