Why should I get Industry Accreditation?
Industry Accreditation grants exclusive access to networking events. Please note: Both Industry Student Accreditation and Non-Industry Student Accreditation require a valid student ID. Students graduating in Spring/Summer 2026 are eligible to apply until September 2026.
Who is eligible for Industry accreditation?
Industry Accreditation is intended for film professionals at all stages of their careers — from emerging voices to established figures. If you're new to the industry, with fewer than two years of professional experience, or currently enrolled as a student in a film-related program, you are welcome and encouraged to apply. We recognize that meaningful contributions to the industry come from a wide range of experiences and career stages.
How do I apply for CIFF Industry Accreditation?
If you are an member of the film industry, apply here. If you are a student, apply here.
What is the accreditation process?
1. Go to the Industry Accreditation Sign-up page or Industry Student Accreditation Sign-up page.
2. Insert your email address into the field. You will then receive an email with a code to access the Industry Accreditation Application Form.
3. Input your information into the required fields on the form.
4. Click SUBMIT.
5. A member of our programming team will review your application and send you an email. If you are approved, you will receive a link to the All Access Industry Pass or All Access Industry Student Pass purchase page.
When will I know if I have been accredited?
You will receive a follow-up email from a member of our industry team within 5 business days of submitting your application.
I've registered but have not received a confirmation email.
In the weeks leading up to the festival, we may experience a high volume of emails and application submissions. If you do not receive your confirmation email right away it means we’re processing a large number of requests and will get back to you as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these busy periods.
I have a film in Official Selection. Do I still have to pay for my pass?
If your film is part of the Official Selection, you are eligible for an Industry Pass. The festival programmer who invited your film will contact you with further details.
Do you have a discounted pass for students? How can I request one?
Students are eligible for discounted festival passes. Proof of valid student ID is required. You can apply for industry student accreditation here.

Can my colleague pick up my pass on my behalf?
Passes cannot be signed out by someone other than the accredited passholder. ID verification may be required upon pick-up.
Can passes be shared?
No. Passes are to be used exclusively by the accredited passholder. Our industry passes include an identification photo specifically for this purpose.
Do you offer refunds?
CIFF does not offer refunds. For more information on our refund and exchange policies, please visit our Box Office FAQ page.
Do I need to reserve a ticket to Industry events?
No. You can access eligible Industry Events by presenting your pass. Admission is subject to capacity.
