In 1976, after releasing several solo albums that caused but a ripple on the US charts, Peter Frampton released FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE, and his life would never be the same. Capturing the zeitgeist like few albums before - or since - Frampton was EVERYWHERE for a few chaotic, whirlwind years of 'overnight' success, fame, and idol worship. Until he wasn't.

Directed by longtime Frampton bandmate and confidante Rob Arthur, FRAMPTON allows this legendary musician to recount, in his own words, how he first came to prominence in the bands The Herd and Humble Pie before becoming a solo artist and experiencing a meteoric rise to fame.

Mixing archival footage with interviews and performances from Frampton’s latest tour, this intimate documentary features a who's who of incredible interview subjects, including Ringo Starr, Cameron Crowe, Alice Cooper, and more. In the end, FRAMPTON is one rock doc that definitely 'comes alive.'
