URCHIN marks a strong feature directorial debut by actor Harris Dickinson (TRIANGLE OF SADNESS, CIFF 2022; BABYGIRL). Dickinson draws a superb and subtly emotional performance from Frank Dillane (HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE), who handles the material, written by Dickinson himself, with maturity and intention. The film won the FIPRESCI Prize, Un Certain Regard, at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
URCHIN follows Mike, a rough sleeper in London trapped in a cycle of self-destruction, as he attempts to turn his life around. Raw and absurd, the film is a story about the strange patterns that keep pulling us back.
