Volklore is an experimental video essay that explores the transformation of Czech folklore in the digital age of social networks. Set within a perfectly simulated digital universe, it blends folklore rituals with influencer culture, where traditions become a tool of marketing and commodification.

Led by the charismatic (and entirely fictional) YouTuber Vivi, rituals dissolve into fashion cycles, echoing the anarchic spirit of Daisies by Věra Chytilová, while sharply observing a glossy world ruled by Vogue and Anna Wintour. Complete with fabricated chats, ads, and an e-shop, the film constructs a seductive online ecosystem where authenticity is both performed and consumed.
