Sixteen-year-old Sasha joins her father Ed on a business trip to New York where he’s attending a global menstrual hygiene expo. Ed’s embarrassing, daggy-father behavior makes Sasha feel sidelined. When she sees Ed flirting with Rai, a fellow male colleague, Sasha's perception of herself, her father and her family are thrown into question. Their relationship is forever changed after Sasha embarrasses Ed in front of the people he seems to care most about.
