SPACE CADET

Adapted from his graphic novel of the same name, legendary Canadian artist Kid Koala’s debut animated feature follows a guardian robot as he tries to find new purpose in life after his ward, Celeste, a bright young astronaut, blasts off on a solo mission to outer space.
A poignant music-filled tale about memories and the bonds that connect us, SPACE CADET is a futuristic lullaby about finding your place in the universe and exploring grief, loss, and love across generations.
Kid Koala is well-known as a scratch DJ, film composer, live performance artist, and for writing and illustrating the award-winning graphic novels NUFONIA MUST FALL (2003) and SPACE CADET (2011).
