Using an observant and non-judgmental camera, director Denis Côté (A SKIN SO SOFT, CIFF 2017; BORIS WITHOUT BÉATRICE, CIFF 2016; VIC + FLO SAW A BEAR, CIFF 2013; CURLING, CIFF 2010) presents an atypical and endearing individual who bears witness, in his own way, to our sometimes unusual quest for well-being.
Suffering from depression and social anxiety, Paul leads a routine and solitary life at home. A huge fan of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, he constantly ponders how to make his world brighter and more candid. One solution has been to find security and refuge in completing household chores for dominant women, leading Paul to become the submissive "Cleaning Simp Paul" on Instagram. He exiles himself to a whimsical and therapeutic virtual adventure, never giving up on his fight to find inner peace while making his favourite dommes happy.
