Director John McPhail will be in attendance at the September 24 screening.
GROW is an exuberant family film about humongous pumpkins and even bigger dreams. Dinah Little is a no-nonsense farmer who lives in the self-proclaimed "Pumpkin Capital of the World.” When she discovers her niece, Charlie, in an orphanage, she reluctantly takes her in. Charlie, who has a mysterious empathic connection to plants, begins to nurture a pumpkin—and as it grows, so does the love between her and Dinah.
This heartwarming, family-friendly film, directed by John McPhail (ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE), recently had its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and is sure to be a fan favourite in the lineup.
GROW’s lead, Dominic McLaughlin, was recently announced as the new Harry Potter in the upcoming HBO Max series. He stars alongside fellow GROW cast member Nick Frost, who will play Hagrid in the same series.
