In the Catholic and conservative city of Córdoba, Argentina, the end of a military regime promises a spring that doesn’t last long. “La Delpi” is the lone survivor of a group of transgender women and drag queen friends who began dying of AIDS in the late '80s. Known as The Kalas Group, they made their weapons and trenches out of improvised dresses and playbacks. Today, the unique images and unknown footage of The Kalas are not only a farewell letter, but a friendship manifesto.
