RESPETO is the feature debut of veteran music video director Treb Monteras , who to date has directed more than 300 music videos. The film is a bold, dark, utterly unique and electric film filled with original poetry and rap music, lead by Filipino hip-hop artist and Youtube star Abra.
Hendrix dreams of hip-hop greatness, but he’s spiralling down a rabbit-hole of crime and poverty. When Hendrix meets Doc, an old poet still haunted by his martial law past, an unlikely mentorship begins; but, can they turn each other’s lives around before they’re swallowed by circumstance?
