This year, we're offering both classroom field trips and online access to Generation Next films.
Work with us to inspire the next generation of film fans and supplement existing Alberta curriculum topics with teacher-approved educational packets!
IN-PERSON
At just $11 per student, your classroom can attend a screening of a youth-curated, Generation Next film at the world-class art gallery Contemporary Calgary, located in the city's downtown core.
This admission cost also grants students access to all of the gallery's beautiful modern art exhibits, making your Gen Next field trip an unforgettable, 2-in-1 visual experience!
Please note that a minimum order of $250 (Approx. 23 Students) is required to cover the cost of bus rides and a maximum of 200 students will be allowed per screening.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
IN CINEMA
STEP 1: APPLY (CLICK HERE)
Teachers can apply from September 01 until October 15, 2022, but don't wait! Space is limited and screenings will be filled out on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-up is easy and you'll hear from us within 48 hours of your submission.
STEP 2: WATCH
All field trips will take place from October 24 to October 28 at Contemporary Calgary. Bussing to the venue will be included in the field trip cost. A minimum of 23 students are required for an in-cinema field trip. Screenings will allow a maximum of 200 students per screening.
STEP 3: CURRICULUM MATERIALS
Use teacher-approved worksheets to supplement the film. See below
